YES You Can!
Be a Voice for Young People on a Wycombe Youth Advisory Board
The Youth Enquiry Service (YES) want to hear from young people (aged 13 to 25) so they have set up a brand-new Youth Advisory Board (YAB) in High Wycombe.
To apply, check-out the YES website for more information about what’s involved in becoming a member.
As part of the Youth Enquiry Service (YES), the YAB will ensure young people’s voices are heard and help shape the future of this trusted charity, which has been providing free, confidential support, counselling, and advice since 1982.
The charity operates four days and four evenings a week, supporting thousands of young people in the Wycombe area each year. By joining the Youth Advisory Board, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Work closely with professionals at YES to share your views on the services offered to young people.
- Make a real impact by helping develop new ideas and co-leading with the YES Trustee Board on decisions that affect young people’s services.
- Co-create projects and communications that reflect the needs and views of young people in Wycombe.
- Meet and connect with other YAB members, YES staff, Trustees, and young people from across the community.
- Build valuable skills and experience in areas like leadership and public speaking. YES will support you with your personal goals, and you can add this experience to your CV for future job or course applications.
